For Empress Flame, I developed a comprehensive brand identity system that translates the magic of the cosmos into a premium tactile experience. Collaborating with founder Sarah Zachary, the visual direction was built around three core pillars: mystical, fantastical, and magical. Inspired by the nurturing abundance and divine feminine energy of The Empress tarot card, the final identity pairs celestial typography with enchanting design details. The packaging and labeling system features bespoke visuals for each candle. Uniquely named, scented, and tailored to its corresponding astrological sign—creating an immersive, storytelling brand experience from the moment the match is struck.
